Mod Glam + Awesome Room = Happy Girl
While perusing Decor Pad, yet again, I came upon a photo that features the "Mod Glam" fashion aesthetic and great interior decor all in one!
The clean modern lines of her outfit, paired with a ton of bracelets and little leopard or jeweled flats, are the exact elements that make up "Mod Glam"! Sitting her style aside for a moment....Let's look at the great room! The black and white palette (including her wardrobe...didn't leave it behind too long..oops) and that zebra print hide...Yes Please! Also crushing on that perfect coffee table (with the perfect amount of accessories), the great Asian cabinet, the pharmacy lamp, dark wood floors and a wonderful white slipcovered sofa! When can I move in?

Trend Prediction for 2011 (at least I hope so...)
So, I'm "officially" making a Trend Alert 2011 prediction....Mod Glam.
I want to see great mod silhouettes paired with chunky tribal/ethnic or vintage inspired jewelry and large sunnies!
The look should feel clean, put together, exotic, edgy and eccentric, all at the same time.
I Love, Love, Love mod fashion and wearing a ton of ethnic chunky jewelry...so putting the two together totally makes sense. I realize that we typically think of pairing this type of jewelry with a flowy, bohemian style, but pairing it with a structured modern silhouette just looks awesome. It's like taking a room with modern furnishings and adding a great collection of ethnic accessories....which happens to be one of my favorite interior looks!
Could you see this as a trend for 2011? Would you rock this look?
