Here in Hawaii, the tsunami warning has been lifted and all is returning to "normal", but Japan is still in the midst of it's nightmare...

I can't imagine such fear and devastation (and hope to never have to), but my heart goes out to all the people caught in the middle of this terrible disaster and to all the people who have lost loved ones and to those who are still searching for them...

my cousin and his wife and baby live in Japan and we have yet to hear word from them, but I believe they live far enough from the epicenter to have not been affected....

living in a community that is largely Japanese and has a tourist industry comprised of mostly Japanese citizens, this tragedy will be heavily felt here in Hawaii...
