I love photography and landscaping, so photographing plants and landscapes is a great combination for me! Here are a few photos from this weekend!
All of the above photos were taken by me at the Honolulu Zoo (which we take our son to every Sunday)
...and these photos were taken by me at Waikiki Beach
...then at the end of the day, while sitting on my beach blanket watching my husband and son play in the water, a wedding party walked past with Diamond Head in the background...doesn't get much cooler!
The only thing we didn't get to do this weekend was to attend the Lantern Lighting on Magic Island...but we did attend last year and I was able to send a lantern out to sea in remembrance of my father. So, this post will stand in remembrance, this Memorial Day, of all the loved ones we've lost and for all the brave men and women who have given their lives for our country! Aloha and Mahalo
