This weekend was a mix of pain and fun. For some reason I thought it would be a great idea to have laser hair removal on my legs (probably because they really need it and Australia has super cheap laser hair removal!), but I was not expecting how painful it would be! Now, I've never had a tattoo, so saying that it felt like I had my legs fully tattooed is only something I can imagine would be equally painful...however, I have ran over my finger with a sewing machine needle and can accurately make a comparison between the two and say that it did, indeed, feel like someone was running up and down my legs, very quickly, with a hot sewing machine needle! I did manage to remain perfectly still, while squeezing my hands together, gritting my teeth and holding my breath. Only 5 more treatments to go! They must space them out once a month to give the painful memory some time to fade!
That was Sunday! Yesterday (our Monday...remember, we're a day ahead here) I went here...

with the hubby and my little surfer dude who was so happy to see a beach again! Everyday it's been, "I want to go back home to Hawaii to my awesome, perfect beach!" Poor guy! I think he may have had a little fun!
How was your weekend? I told my husband that this coming weekend has to be all about house projects. We still need to finish refinishing the slab coffee table, switch out the metal mini blinds with our bamboo roman shades, hang curtains and I really want to start working on a special project, for our sons room, which will become a fun tutorial...at least I hope! Now, I must be off to ice my legs...just kidding! Cheers!
