Back in the Aloha State

After being in Florida for 3 weeks, I am now back home. Although a sad event, the passing of my Grandmother, brought me back to my home town it was very nice to see family and we did a ton of stuff together.

My cousin and I ended up spending all but 2 days of my trip together. We threw her daughter a fabulous first birthday party and I helped her redecorate her house. There will be several posts to come featuring these adventures.

First, however, I will just do a small post to get back in the swing of things. My Aunt owns a very chic high-end salon and she is always very generous so I now have a new hair style and a wonderful mani and pedi.

I had my fingers and toes painted in essie's steel-ing the scene. It is by far the most daring and edgy color choice I've ever made, but I think it's pretty cool and makes me feel young and hip.

Oh, my next daring color choice is going to be going incognito. I know green is a bit odd, but I saw it on a girl in this months Marie Claire and I knew instantly, I must have it. It's not available for purchase just yet, but I've already put in my request, with the hubby, for Christmas!
