Katina's Home: Ikea Finds

As I've mentioned in previous posts my cousin and I redecorated most of her house while I was in Miami a couple weeks ago. Her house ended up having a perfect eclectic mix of styles.

We worked around a few existing pieces...extra large modern leather sectional, woven Z Gallerie coffee table, one side table, large shag living room rug, tv cabinet, and formal dining table and chairs...other than these few pieces everything else is new.

We picked up a few pieces from Ikea. We had a budget to keep within and wanted to get the biggest bang so we mixed pieces from Ikea with high end solid wood imported furniture and accessories, a beautiful empire style piece from an antique store and accessories and rugs from stores like Home Goods, Cost Plus, TJ Maxx and Ross.

I'll explain how and where everything from ikea has been used in a separate post. I think some of it will come as a surprise!
